Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The Laundry Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and proper care of linens, towels, and other laundry items, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Pay Rate: $23.50/hour

Job Responsibilities:
• Approach each shift with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and ready to contribute to the team’s overall goal.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and other laundry items according to established standards.
• Ensure all laundry items are properly cleaned, sanitized, and free of stains.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work space at all times 
• Check washer and dryer prior to each cycle to ensure only approved materials are placed in each machine
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of clean linens and supplies.
• Coordinate with the Executive Housekeeper to reorder laundry supplies as needed.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and dishwashers. (Maintenance to include but not limited to checking dryer filters)
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Laundry Supervisor/Manager.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures when handling laundry chemicals and equipment.
• Adhere to company policies and laundry-related regulations.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house staff and management, to create a seamless and exceptional dining experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Spanish language preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:
• Previous laundry, housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
• Prefer at least 1-2 years of work experience.
• High school diploma preferred.

Physical Demands
• The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
