Position Summary

The Laundry Attendant processes linens and textiles to support housekeeping operations and ensure a steady supply of clean, high-quality materials for guest rooms and public areas. This role plays an essential part in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency throughout the property.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens according to property standards
  • Operate laundry equipment safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry work area
  • Assist with linen inventory and report shortages or issues
  • Communicate regularly with Housekeeping and other departments
Other Duties
  • Assist with stocking housekeeping carts or room supplies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
Education & Experience
  • No formal education or previous experience required
Knowledge & Skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality standards
  • Good time-management and communication skills
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to push/pull laundry carts
Work Environment
  • Indoor work environment
  • Weekend and holiday availability required
