The Oasis operates the historic AAA Four Diamond Inn and Ranch, restaurants, gift shops, and the world''s lowest elevation golf course. We're hiring a Laundry Driver to Live. Work. Explore. in Death Valley National Park!

Job Summary:This position drives the laundry truck to pick-up and deliver laundry. Assists in loading and unloading of laundry and stocks the linen closets.

The Details:Position Type: Full-time Year-round

Start Dates: As soon as possible on next available start date (Approximately 3 weeks)

Pay: $19.00/hr.Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

• Delivers & picks-up linen from the Ranch, Inn, and other locations as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
• Loads and unloads, or assists in loading and unloading of the truck.
• Stocks Linen Closet.
• Strips rooms of soiled linen.
• Assists with monthly linen inventory.
• Inspects and maintains vehicle supplies and equipment, including gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, in order to ensure that vehicle is in proper working condition.
• Obeys traffic laws, and follows established route and transportation procedures.
• Maneuvers truck into loading or unloading position, following signals from crew as needed.
• Performs other laundry duties (loading and unloading washers and dryers and folding laundry) when deliveries are completed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in outdoor environments with extreme temperatures.
• Ability to reach, stoop, bend, wipe, push, and pull.
• Must have a valid driver''s license.
