Job Description

Responsibilities

The Laundry Supervisor supports facility leadership by administering all HHS programs to maintain high standards of compliance, consistency, and productivity. This role oversees daily laundry operations, manages team performance, conducts quality control audits, and ensures seamless shift transitions.

Shift, Schedule & Requirements

  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • License: A valid Driver’s License is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and train team members daily; manage staff scheduling, area assignments, and bi-weekly payroll administration.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee shift workflows according to the schedule outlined in position JD, including stocking inventory carts, building daily carts, and assisting with linen folding.
  • Quality Control & Compliance: Perform daily facility rounds, conduct linen room QA checks, complete trash audits, and ensure strict compliance with HHS safety and PPE policies.
  • Inventory & Reporting: Requisition and distribute daily supplies; meet regularly with the Director to provide shift reports and track deficiencies.

Qualifications

  • License: Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Experience: Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to effectively manage, motivate, and build a positive team environment.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and facility personnel.
