Laundry Technician 

Arcadia at Limerick Pointe is hiring a full-time Laundry Technician for a temporary assignment. The Laundry Technician is responsible for managing and organizing laundry facilities within the community.

Description of responsibilities:

• Collect soiled laundry from designated areas

• Sort laundry by type

• Wash and dry laundry using commercial machines

• Fold and store laundry

• Return clean laundry to designated areas

• Adhere to strict infection control procedures when handling soiled laundry

• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area

• Report any maintenance issues with laundry equipment

• Monitor and replenish laundry supplies

• Perform other duties as assigned

Required experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Previous housekeeping/commercial laundry experience preferred

Required skills: 

• Interest in working with a senior population

• Demonstrated customer service skills

• Organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work a flexible schedule
