Laundry WorkerHammond, IndianaFull-TimeStarting Pay$15.49 per hourIncreases to $16.55 per hour after successful completion of a 90-day probationary period and satisfactory performance.  INOVA Staffing Services is seeking dependable, hardworking Laundry Workers to join a fast-paced commercial laundry facility in Hammond, Indiana. This position is responsible for sorting, processing, folding, inspecting, and packaging linens while maintaining quality standards and a safe, clean work environment.  Work Schedule5: 00 AM – 3: 30 PM5: 30 AM – 4: 00 PMFour (4) days per weekForty (40) hours per weekOvertime may be available based on business needs  Essential Job ResponsibilitiesSort, separate, and organize soiled linens by type.Feed linens into commercial laundry equipment.Fold, stack, package, and prepare clean linens for shipment.Load and unload laundry carts throughout the facility.Perform visual quality inspections of finished products.Maintain production standards while meeting quality expectations.Keep assigned work areas clean and organized.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Work cooperatively with supervisors and team members.Perform other duties as assigned.  Minimum QualificationsHigh school diplomaAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to frequently bend, twist, reach, push, and pull.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in a warm, fast-paced manufacturing environment.Strong attendance and punctuality.Reliable transportation to and from work.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.  Preferred SkillsPrevious manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.Commercial laundry experience is a plus but not required.Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.  Physical RequirementsContinuous standing and walking.Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.Repetitive hand and arm movements.Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.Ability to work safely around industrial laundry equipment.  Email Resume: amartinez@inovastaffing.comINOVA Staffing Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
