We are accepting applications for this position through 9/3 @ 9am

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Simplex is required. 

All contract professional positions are full time, in person positions. You must be located in Southern California. No relocation funds and no per diem will be offered.Location: Los Angeles, CANumber of positions: 1Type: Direct HireSalary Range: $119K - $133K

Minimum Requirements

Required Experience:

  • Five (5) years full time paid professional construction experience on projects involving environmental (asbestos/lead) assessment, sampling, design, monitoring and abatement

OR

  • 2 years full time paid professional construction experience on projects involving environmental (asbestos/lead) assessment, sampling, design, monitoring, and abatement PLUS a Certification from the State of CA as Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST)

OR

  • Certification from the State of CA as Certified Asbestos Consultant

Required Certificates:

  • Possession of Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), asbestos course certificates (Building Inspector, Management Planner, Contractor/Supervisor and Project Designer)
  • Possession of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Certification
  • Possession of CA Department of Health (CDPH) Lead certification (Inspector/Assessor/Project Monitor)

Required Education:

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or any related field

OR

  • Candidates without a degree must have additional years of experience to compensate for education on a year-for-year basis

Compensation:The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors such as individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.Work Authorization:In compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, Simplex Construction Management, Inc. will only hire individuals lawfully authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
