Law Clerk (Plaintiff-Side Litigation - Lemon Law)

About the Role

A prestigious law firm in Century City is seeking a team of sharp, motivated Law Clerks to join its busy plaintiff-side Lemon Law practice. This is an excellent opportunity for law students who want to gain hands-on, real-world litigation experience while completing their JD.

This role is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn, highly driven, and passionate about litigation. You will work closely with attorneys in a fast-paced environment and gain exposure that can significantly accelerate your legal career and professional development.

️ Important: This position is not suitable for candidates planning to sit for the bar exam this year (2026).

What You'll Do

• Assist attorneys with day-to-day litigation tasks
• Draft and review legal documents, including:
  • Complaints
  • Pleadings
  • Discovery requests and responses
• Support case preparation and fact investigations
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Help organize and maintain case files and supporting documents
• Assist with trial and deposition preparation
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff in a fast-paced plaintiff litigation environment

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Juris Doctor (JD)
• 1-5 years of legal experience (law firm experience preferred)
• Strong interest in litigation and plaintiff-side work
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
• Professional attitude with a genuine passion for law
