Job Summary Interns will take on a variety of projects critical for the development and litigation of potential and current cases, as well as become involved in our constitutional space. They will work closely with Brady lawyers to draft memos, briefs, and reports on assigned topics, conduct research, and delve into some of the most rapidly developing areas of law. They will garner knowledge of several of our current liability cases and amicus portfolio. They will be part of the innovative and academically stimulating environment that helps to create strong gun violence prevention precedent throughout the country.Duties and Responsibilities Conduct factual and legal research in support of active litigationReview and index materials obtained in discoveryWrite in-depth and well-researched legal memorandaCase and decision trackingSkills and Experience Strong writing skills, including accurate grammar, punctuation, and spellingAbility to work well under pressure within a fast-paced, high-performing teamStrong desire to be a key team contributorSelf-motivated, creative, dependable, and accountableHighlights of Your Internship Support a compelling missionWork alongside Brady subject matter experts and thought leadersBe part of a cohort of like-minded internsYou'll be assigned an Intern Advocate to provide mentorship and help you set goalsInclusion in team meetings, presentations, and callsOpportunity to collaborate across the organization"Lunch & Learns" on riveting topicsSocial activitiesDetails: Course-Credit only; we will work with your institution to fulfill requirements | Strong preference for in-person in DC.Availability: Part-time schedule Monday-Friday; strong preference for in-person in DC, specifically on Tuesdays.We are looking to hire 2Ls and 3Ls.Brady is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and believes in driving equality in our communities and workplace.
