NatureWorks is looking for a Lawn & Plant Health Care Specialist to join our growing team. Whether you already have experience in lawn and plant health care or are looking for an opportunity to learn and build a career in the landscape industry, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will help care for some of the area's premier residential landscapes by monitoring the health of lawns and plants, identifying potential problems, performing treatments, and recommending solutions that keep our clients' properties looking and performing their best.
Previous lawn or plant health care experience is a plus, but it is not . We are willing to train a motivated, dependable candidate who is eager to learn.

What You’ll Do
As a Lawn & Plant Health Care Specialist, you will:
Perform lawn, plant health care, fertilizer, and other approved applications on assigned properties
Monitor lawns and landscapes for overall health and changing care needs
Learn to identify common turf, weed, insect, disease, and plant health issues
Identify opportunities to improve the appearance and performance of clients' landscapes
Maintain accurate application and service documentation as
Follow all company and regulatory safety procedures and participate in field safety training
Properly use and maintain assigned equipment and safety gear
Communicate observations, concerns, and opportunities to Account Managers and, when appropriate, directly with clients
Complete timesheets, work tickets, safety documentation, and other required administrative tasks
Perform other duties as needed to support the team
What We Are Looking For
You don't need to know everything about lawn and plant health care on your first day. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic, and desire to learn.
A successful candidate will:
Be dependable, responsible, and able to work independently
Enjoy working outdoors and take pride in producing high-quality work
Have an interest in lawns, plants, horticulture, landscaping, or the outdoors
Be willing and able to learn plant identification, pest identification, application techniques, and proper product use
Pay attention to details and notice changes or potential problems in a landscape
Communicate professionally with teammates, managers, and clients
Be comfortable following detailed safety procedures and application instructions
Be willing to obtain required licenses or certifications with company support
Experience in lawn care, landscaping, horticulture, plant health care, agriculture, grounds maintenance, or a related field is preferred but not .
Experience and Education
Previous professional lawn care, plant health care, landscaping, horticulture, or pesticide application experience is a plus.
No specific number of years of industry experience is . We are open to candidates with limited experience who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Training will be provided to help the right candidate develop the technical knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the position.
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver's license — Required
DOT Medical Card — Required or ability to obtain
Massachusetts Pesticide License — Preferred; willingness and ability to obtain required
Hoisting License — Not required unless needed for assigned responsibilities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:
Standing and walking throughout an 8-hour or longer shift
Lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds
Regularly bending, lifting, stretching, twisting, and reaching
Climbing in and out of trucks, equipment, and trailers throughout the workday
Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and throughout the seasons
Driving a company vehicle to and from assigned worksites

The typical workday begins at 6:30 a.m.
