About the Role:
Trad's Pest Control is seeking a Lawn Care Specialist to provide professional lawn care services for residential and commercial customers in the Jacksonville area.
No previous lawn care experience is required. Paid training is provided. This is a hands-on, outdoor position that is a good fit for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, interacting with customers, and seeing the results of their work.
You will travel to customer properties, inspect lawns, apply treatments, and provide recommendations to help maintain healthy lawns.
What You'll Do:
- Apply lawn treatments, including fertilization, weed control, and pest control products.
- Inspect lawns and identify weeds, insects, disease, and other lawn issues.
- Recommend appropriate treatments based on lawn conditions and customer needs.
- Educate customers about lawn health, treatments, and prevention.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
- Maintain accurate service and treatment records.
- Safely operate company vehicles, equipment, and lawn care tools.
- Follow applicable safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Work outdoors in Florida's varying weather conditions.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Ability to obtain required Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) licensing. Training and support are provided.
- Comfortable working outdoors in heat and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to perform regular physical work, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
- Lawn care, landscaping, pest control, groundskeeping, or related experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Compensation & Benefits:
