Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on execution: Actively operate and drive equipment like zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, edgers, and backpack blowers.
• Quality control: Walk properties before leaving to ensure clean lines, precise edging, and that no details were missed.
• Equipment maintenance: Perform pre- and post-shift checks (oil levels, tire pressure, blade sharpness) and handle basic repairs.
• Customer relations: Greet clients, address concerns on-site, and communicate directly with homeowners or commercial property managers.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of lawn mowing service experience and 1+ years specifically leading and managing a crew.
• Credentials: Valid Michigan Chauffeur's License and a current DOT Medical Card are mandatory.
• Screening: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and a 90-day probationary period.
• Physical Demands: Ability to read/write/speak English, complete physical labor, and work outside in all weather conditions for both lawn and snow services.
• Education & Transit: High School diploma or equivalency, and reliable transportation to our shop in Ann Arbor, MI.

• Language: Ability to speak Spanish is highly desired.
• Leadership: 2+ years of direct experience specifically as a Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader.
