Lawn Maintenance Operator

At Turf Tech, LLC, we’re an established landscape and outdoor service company serving Louisville and surrounding areas. We’re looking for an experienced, dependable Lawn Maintenance Operator who enjoys working outdoors, operating commercial equipment, and contributing to a strong team environment.

As a Lawn Maintenance Operator, you’ll work alongside a crew lead and other team members to maintain residential and commercial properties throughout the Louisville area. This position requires previous mowing or landscaping experience and the ability to safely and efficiently operate commercial stand-on and walk-behind mowers.

What You’ll Do

• Operate commercial stand-on and walk-behind mowers
• Trim grass around buildings, trees, fences, signs, and other obstacles
• Edge sidewalks, curbs, driveways, and landscape beds
• Blow off sidewalks, driveways, patios, parking areas, and other hard surfaces
• Assist with property cleanup and debris removal
• Follow assigned mowing routes and property-specific instructions
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Report equipment damage, safety concerns, and property issues to the crew lead
• Load, unload, secure, and organize equipment properly
• Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Help maintain clean, professional-looking properties for customers
• Work efficiently as part of a professional lawn maintenance crew
• Assist with training less-experienced crew members when needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous commercial mowing or landscaping experience
• Experience operating commercial stand-on or walk-behind mowers
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to follow directions and complete work efficiently
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday
• Team-oriented mindset
• Attention to detail and pride in completed work
• Ability to safely operate trimmers, edgers, blowers, and other commercial equipment
• Valid driver’s license is strongly preferred
• Experience driving a truck and landscape trailer is a plus
• Crew lead or training experience is a plus

Seasonal Work With Opportunity
