Lawn Maintenance Technician

Job Description:
Perform a variety of duties related to the construction, installation, maintenance, upkeep, beautification and repair of Cemetery Grounds

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs to Cemetery Grounds.
• Operate powered equipment such as mowers, trimmers, edgers, sod cutters, chain saw etc.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, clippers, saws etc.
• May install and maintain sprinkler systems, perform landscape construction and maintenance, including but not limited to mowing, aerating, pruning, landscape and planting trees, shrubs, sod flowers, and lawn seed.
• Clear walkways, driveways and park lots.
• Assist in burials at grave sites
• Meet performance standards established with the employee's manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
