Organization Information The mission of the Lawrence County School District is: ''''Every Child College and Career Ready.'''' The district is comprised of six schools: Blaine Elementary, P-8; Fallsburg Elementary, P-8; Louisa West Elementary, P-1; Louisa East Elementary, 2-5; Louisa Middle School, 6-8; and Lawrence County High School, 9-12. Lawrence County's District Plan has a four-fold focus: I. Increasing Teacher and Administrator Effectiveness, II. Organizational Structures to facilitate the reform, III. Meeting the Needs of Struggling Learners, and IV. Support Structures for all stakeholders. Priority goals for the district include improved student achievement in reading and math, decreased student absenteeism, higher staff expectations for students and monitoring of implementation of district priority objectives.
