LBS1 Special Education Case Manager – Chicago Heights, IL

Lakeshore Behavior Consulting is hiring an LBS1 Special Education Case Manager for a full-time, school-based position near Chicago Heights, Illinois.

This position is a great fit for an experienced special education professional who is comfortable managing IEPs, leading eligibility and IEP meetings, collaborating with school teams and families, and supporting special education compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of students receiving special education services
• Develop, review, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Schedule and facilitate IEP meetings and eligibility conferences
• Monitor student progress and review data to guide recommendations
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Support staff with IEP procedures, documentation, and compliance

Qualifications

• Active Illinois LBS1 license required
• Experience in special education and school-based case management
• Strong knowledge of IEP procedures and special education requirements
• Experience facilitating IEP and eligibility meetings
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with families and multidisciplinary school teams

Pay amp; Benefits

• $50 per hour (up to $63,000 per school year)
