LCSW or LPC - Full-Time or Part-Time

As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to provide in-person services to students. These positions are for the upcoming school year.

Position 1:

• Seeking 2–5 candidates total (either two full-time providers or up to five part-time providers)
• Monday–Friday during school hours
• Students aged 8–15
• Medicaid-billable licensure required

Position 2:

• 3 hours per week
• Flexible schedule during school hours
• Caseload of two students
• Medicaid-billable licensure required

Position 3:

• Part-Time 3.5 hours per week
• 6th - 10th grade small caseload
• Flexible Schedule between hours 8:00-1:00 PM Monday - Thursday

Social Worker Qualifications:

• Licensure as a Social Worker or Psychologist in DC (please note: LGSW, LMSW, or LGPC licenses cannot be considered)
• School Certification as a Social Worker or Psychologist in DC
• Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
• Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Social Worker Responsibilities May Include:

• Providing Behavioral Support Services to HS students
• Driving student achievement for students with disabilities
• Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data
• Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning
• Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills
• Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students
• Handling Medicare reimbursements
