Performs tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices. Sets up, operates, performs maintenance on, and troubleshoots equipment. May conduct quality inspections in accordance with quality specifications. Works within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods and follows quality guidelines.
The Assembly Lead performs the full scope of Assembly 3 work and helps keep assigned builds ready and moving. The role supports daily build planning, confirms materials and equipment are available, communicates priorities with R&D and ISC Engineering, raises risks early, and works next to the Assembly 3 team when build support is needed.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Desired two or more years of manufacturing or assembly experience. Prior experience organizing work, training others, supporting production or development-build schedules, or leading daily activities preferred. Must communicate clearly with co-workers, engineers, Team Leads, and Supervisors. Must be able to read, write, interpret, and understand specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations. Must be able to use basic measurement tools, such as microscopes. Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis. Must have good attention to detail, work well with others, and be willing to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities. |
