Position Summary:
The order selector will pick all pieces of merchandise into a tote or box for the stores in a particular area.
Assists in maintaining elevated levels of accuracy and performance to meet the needs of store orders while utilizing safe work practices.

Duties:
•Compiles store orders from a tablet or pick ticket to include item locations, descriptions and quantity needed.
•Gathers the needed pieces of merchandise to ensure proper placement into totes or boxes.
•Loads totes or boxes of merchandise that can be up to 30-50 pounds to ensure safe lifting techniques.
•Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following safety guidelines.
•Performs general housekeeping to ensure working area and aisles are clear of debris.
•Follows routine assignments that require some problem resolution for the distribution function.
•Matches daily tasks with company-defined standard operating procedures and scientific methods to ensure best practices.
•Enters the data for ins and outs to ensure tasks related to picking and packaging are completed.
•Using totes or cardboard boxes proceed down aisle to select and remove merchandise from shelf in accordance with information provided on pick documents.
•Affix EAS Tags in correct position on merchandise where applicable and place non-priced item labels in tote.
•Pack merchandise in totes properly, banding small loose merchandise where needed.
•Close tote or tape box and affix Store Label;push completed work onto conveyor.
•Frequent overtime offered, particularly during high volume periods, to ensure that all stores are serviced according to daily schedule.
•Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Experience:
•Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills
•0-2 years work experience
•Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
•Good written and verbal communication skills;ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally.
•Knowledge of Aptia
•Must be certified on all equipment needed to complete job task.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED.
