The Lead Insights Analyst works under minimal supervision to transform complex data into high-value, high-impact insights that drive effective operational and strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and analysis.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership and executives.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify trends, interpret complex datasets, and develop actionable recommendations.
Demonstrated experience transforming data into compelling business narratives and actionable insights through effective data storytelling.
Experience developing executive-level presentations and communicating findings in a concise, impactful manner.
Strong business intelligence and reporting experience, including proficiency with OBI (Oracle Business Intelligence) and/or other enterprise reporting tools.
Experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau preferred.
Ability to collaborate effectively with operational, clinical, IT, and analytics teams to solve complex business challenges.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Epic reporting and analytics tools preferred.
Lean, process improvement, or Epic certifications are highly desirable.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree required; Masters preferred.
A degree in healthcare administration, business administration, organizational development, industrial or related engineering, nursing, science, or a degree in a related field is preferred.
Six (6) years of relevant experience required.
Experience with healthcare operations is strongly preferred.
Experience in Epic and/or Power BI/Tableau preferred.
Expert knowledge of analytics principles and capabilities strongly preferred.
Expert user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products.
Understanding of basic statistical concepts.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Epic and/or lean certifications are strongly preferred.
