Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hrly $41.86 Stipend (Lodging $1,141.00 + M&I $602.00 = $1,743.00 

Total Comp: $3,501.12 

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) RN
RN - L&D Duties & Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period, including monitoring maternal and fetal conditions.
• 
  Assist physicians and healthcare providers with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, procedures, and management of obstetric emergencies.
• 
  Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered, while monitoring patient response and changes in condition.
• 
  Provide immediate newborn care and monitoring following delivery, as needed.
• 
  Educate and support patients and families regarding labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
• 
  Maintain accurate patient documentation and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, timely, and quality patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 
  Must have current licensure with the CA Board of Registered Nursing
• 
  Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
• 
  BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program
• 
  Minimum of one (1) year related work experience within the last 3 years
• 
  Five (5) plus years of recent experience (must have occurred within the last two (2) years) in Labor and Delivery is preferred but not required
• 
  One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years
• 
  High Risk OB experience preferred
• 
  Additional certifications may be required
• 
  Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• 
  Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
