    Lead Agile Business Analyst
    Location: Allentown, PA or Houston, TX
    Job Type: C2C | Hybrid
    Pay Rate: $60/hr

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in supporting and enhancing critical Oil & Gas applications. The role involves gathering requirements, providing L2/L3 application support, coordinating with business and technical teams, and driving improvements across IT and OT workflows. The analyst will support enterprise applications such as SCADA, ETRM, Pipeline Scheduler, and GIS systems while contributing to automation, testing, and compliance activities.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with business units to gather and document functional and technical requirements.
    • Provide Level 2/3 support for key Oil & Gas applications including Pipeline Scheduler, SCADA, OSI PI, and ETRM (Rightangle).
    • Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure timely issue resolution.
    • Identify process gaps and propose automation solutions using Power Automate, UiPath, or Azure DevOps.
    • Act as a liaison between business users, developers, vendors, and operations teams.
    • Prepare test cases, coordinate UAT, and support deployment for application releases.
    • Ensure compliance with Oil & Gas industry standards, cybersecurity norms, and regulatory requirements.

    Required Qualifications

    • Strong understanding of Oil & Gas workflows and related IT/OT applications.
    • Experience with SCADA, Pipeline Scheduler, Fuels Manager, GIS, OSI PI, and ETRM systems.
    • Proficiency in Boomi, Power BI, and integration tools.
    • Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
    • 5+ years of IT Business Analyst experience in Oil & Gas.
    • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Azure, or AWS.
    • Certifications such as CBAP, ITIL, or Agile credentials.
