We are looking for an experienced AI engineering leader with strong AWS, enterprise architecture, Python, AI frameworks, AIOps, security, and platform engineering experience. This role is ideal for someone who can design, build, deploy, and operate scalable AI and Generative AI solutions while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across software engineering, data science, DevOps, and business teams.

What You'll Do
Lead the development, deployment, and ongoing optimization of AI and Generative AI solutions
Design and implement scalable, reliable systems for AI applications
Be involved in all stages of the model development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment
Implement engineering best practices to support platform scalability, reliability, and uptime
Support the operation of process automation products and solutions across dispersed onshore and offshore teams
Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, DevOps teams, and stakeholders to design and implement technical solutions
Track and report on platform performance and availability metrics
Apply industry-standard security best practices across AI platforms and automation solutions
Troubleshoot complex software, platform, and system issues using strong problem-solving and analysis skills
Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of technical excellence
Stay current with new technologies and industry trends to continuously improve enterprise AI platforms
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
7+ years of experience working with AWS services, enterprise architecture best practices, system engineering, and security
7+ years of development experience or strong knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle
5+ years of hands-on experience with Python, AI frameworks, and AIOps
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, including SageMaker
Strong understanding of agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
Strong software troubleshooting, problem-solving, and system analysis skills
Ability and willingness to learn new technologies quickly
Experience working with remote teams in a matrixed environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team while supporting enterprise automation and AI objectives
Commitment to delivering strong customer service and stable, reliable automation platforms
Preferred Skills & Certifications
AWS, AI/ML, cloud architecture, security, or platform engineering certifications are a plus
Experience with Generative AI implementation in enterprise environments
Experience operating AI platforms, automation platforms, or AIOps solutions at scale
Experience with SageMaker, containerization, orchestration, and cloud-native AI deployment patterns
Experience mentoring junior engineers and supporting technical excellence across distributed teams
Strong understanding of secure AI development and enterprise governance practices
