We are seeking an experienced Lead Analog & RF Design Engineer to support the development of advanced electronic systems for aerospace, defense, industrial, medical, and other high-reliability applications.
This role is ideal for a hands-on electrical engineer with deep expertise in analog circuit design and product development from concept through production. The successful candidate will lead the architecture, design, analysis, prototyping, testing, and validation of complex electronic hardware while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. While experience with RF technologies is highly desirable, the primary focus is on analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
This position also provides technical leadership through mentoring junior engineers, supporting customer interactions, and driving engineering excellence across multiple product development programs.
Lead the design and development of analog and mixed-signal electronic hardware for high-reliability products.
Design and develop:
Analog signal conditioning circuits
Power supply and power management circuits
Precision analog interfaces
High-speed analog signal chains
Data converter interfaces
Mixed-signal embedded hardware
Support RF-related designs including front ends, filters, LNAs, oscillators, PLLs, power amplifiers, and wireless interfaces when required.
Develop schematics, perform circuit simulations, provide PCB layout guidance, and generate complete design documentation.
Perform circuit analysis, including:
Analog performance optimization
Signal integrity
Power integrity
Noise analysis
EMI/EMC mitigation
Stability and impedance analysis
Guide multilayer PCB design, component selection, and controlled impedance layout practices.
Lead prototype bring-up, debugging, troubleshooting, verification, and validation activities.
Collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Support environmental qualification, regulatory compliance, and product reliability testing.
Participate in customer design reviews, technical discussions, and engineering trade studies.
Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), reliability improvements, and continuous engineering best practices.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple development programs.
Support product transition from prototype through manufacturing and production.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
8+ years of hands-on electrical hardware design experience, including recent ownership of product designs from concept through production.
Strong expertise in:
Analog circuit design
Mixed-signal electronics
Power supply and power management design
High-speed digital and analog interfaces
PCB design and layout principles
Experience designing, simulating, debugging, and validating electronic hardware.
Proficiency with tools such as:
LTspice or PSpice
Altium Designer (or similar PCB CAD software)
Oscilloscopes
Logic analyzers
Signal generators
Strong understanding of schematic capture, PCB layout, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC design principles.
Experience working in cross-functional product development teams.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with RF circuit design or wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RF front ends, filters, amplifiers, or communications systems.
Familiarity with RF simulation tools such as ADS, HFSS, or Microwave Office.
Experience with aerospace, defense, medical device, or other high-reliability electronic products.
Experience with FPGA interfaces, embedded hardware, or digital communications.
Knowledge of environmental qualification and regulatory compliance testing.
Previous experience mentoring engineers or leading technical projects.
Customer-facing engineering or technical leadership experience.
This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative engineering organization developing innovative, high-reliability electronic products across multiple industries. You'll work on technically challenging designs from concept through production while partnering with experienced engineers and directly influencing the development of next-generation technologies.
