    Description

    ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance policies from ownership, management, and regulatory agencies are implemented at the site levelTrain property managers and leasing staff on eligibility requirements, income verification, and documentation standardsOversee tenant file processing and approval during initial lease-up to ensure residents meet program eligibility criteriaMonitor leasing progress to align with regulatory deadlines and tax credit requirementsConduct pre-occupancy and initial compliance auditsManage the transition process when properties are refinanced or restructuredEnsure continued resident eligibility and proper recertification during resyndicationMaintain accurate records for tenant eligibility, income certifications, and lease agreementsSubmit required compliance reports to various agencies on timeStay up to date on changes in affordable housing regulationsRequirementsMinimum of three (3) years' experience in reviewing files presented by property management for lease up and resyndicationAffordable housing compliance experience or knowledge of regulatory requirementsKnowledge of HUD, Tax Credit, and State/Local programs is a mustAbility to set priorities and maintain annual work plan progressExperience with technology solutions for compliance managementExperience with Yardi preferredHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. required; Bachelor's degree preferred or relative employment experienceKnowledge of affordable housing is requiredStrong financial acumenDemonstrated ability to understand basic financial calculationsDemonstrated experience in project management from inception to completionStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishAbility to apply reason, logic, and advanced problem-solving skillsAbility to read at a level sufficient to understand policies and proceduresStrong computer and keyboarding skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelCertifications & QualificationsHigh School DiplomaG.E.D.Bachelor's degree#J-18808-Ljbffr
