Lead Architect

The Lead Architect plays a critical role in guiding design initiatives and managing architectural projects, ensuring alignment with both client needs and organizational goals. Overseeing a small team of 1-5 architects, this position balances creative leadership with technical oversight across both internal and client-facing projects. The role requires collaboration, strategic planning, and a commitment to quality and sustainability in design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts and establish architectural vision for projects
• Plan and coordinate project timelines and resources
• Manage and mentor a small team of architects
• Collaborate with clients to understand and meet project requirements
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and quality standards
• Oversee budget management and cost control
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for successful project delivery
• Drive sustainability planning initiatives within architectural designs

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
• Licensed Architect credential
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Project management skills
• Expertise in technical drawing and construction management
• Strong communication abilities
