Lead Assembly Technician

Power/mation is seeking a full-time Lead Assembly Technician in our Roseville, Minnesota facility. We are looking for someone with some production experience. You will be working with the Production Supervisor and Solutions staff to produce electrical or mechanical control sub-assemblies successfully and profitably, modification of components, and part kits. Train and provide work direction and guidance while performing work in one or more of the skilled trades. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Assists Supervisor in establishing schedule based on workload and experience.
• Directly responsible for the training and support of the assembly technician group.
• Mechanical assembly with the use of blueprints, schematics or written work instructions using hand tools.
• Help maintain production schedule and scheduling Technicians on a daily/weekly basis.
• Become back-up to direct supervisor

Qualifications:

• Requires a minimum of 7 years related experience or comparable work experience.
• Requires a 2-year technical degree/certificate or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Previous experience in a Power/mation Assembly Technician position is strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.
• Highly motivated and success driven.
• Detail orientated, honest, trustworthy, and strong work ethic.
• Possess excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Displays flexibility regarding scheduling of work hours when necessary to complete a job.
• Able to travel to offsite business/customer locations if required.
