What you’ll do:
Provide leadership and counsel to management on legal, business, legislation, regulation, and strategic matters
Prepare contracts, agreements, and other documents for business transactions
Represent the company before courts, regulatory agencies, and other adjudicatory proceedings
Manage and mentor a team of attorneys and legal professionals, serving as the primary legal contact for business areas
What you will need:
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; licensed to practice in the state of hire
At least 10 years of legal experience in a corporate law department, law firm, government, or equivalent
Demonstrated leadership experience
Preferred: background in the utility industry or other heavily regulated sectors
