As a Lead Atomic Physicist in Honeywell Aerospace''s Advanced Sensing Technology group, you will use your technical and managerial skills to support several projects in a fast-paced R&D environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive research and development of technologies such as atomic clocks, atomic RF sensors, and photonics. You will have input into a variety of strategically important business-critical tasks in the growing field of quantum and optical sensing.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • >10 years of R&D experience in AMO physics, especially in the areas of quantum sensing technologies including Atomic sensors, Optical Sensors, or photonics
  • Extensive experiences in proposing and winning DOD-funded programs
  • Experiences in technical leadership and program management
  • Due to contractual agreements, all applicants must be US Citizens or Permanent Residence.

  • Experiences in working with internal and external customers
  • Track record of solving difficult, complex problems through innovation, analysis, engineering, and experimentation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills reflected in a record of published results and public presentations in your field of research.

US PERSONS REQUIREMENT

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000-165,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell Aerospace considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate''s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
