Duration: 06+ Months with Possible Extension.
Pay Range: $49-$53/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Azure Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Client Azure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate will lead the design, architecture, migration, and modernization of enterprise applications and infrastructure on Azure. This role requires extensive hands-on experience with Bicep, Azure networking, Azure Front Door, Application Gateway, CI/CD automation, and cloud governance.

The candidate should have proven experience delivering large-scale Azure migration projects, implementing secure landing zones, and modernizing workloads using Azure-native services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement enterprise Azure cloud solutions.
• Lead Azure migration projects, including:
  • Lift-and-Shift migrations
  • Infrastructure modernization
  • Subscription migrations
  • Cloud transformation initiatives
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using:
  • Bicep (Mandatory)
  • ARM Templates
  • PowerShell
  • Azure CLI
• Build secure, scalable Azure networking architectures.
• Configure and manage:
  • Azure Front Door
  • Azure Application Gateway
  • Load Balancers
  • Virtual Networks
  • Network Security Groups
• Design and implement Azure Landing Zones using Client Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
• Configure Azure Governance including:
  • Azure Policies
  • Management Groups
  • Resource Locks
  • RBAC
  • Cost Management
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate application deployment, testing, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Modernize applications using Azure PaaS services.
• Implement Azure API Management and event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams.
• Ensure platform security, scalability, availability, and operational excellence.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 4 5+ years of hands-on Azure architecture and cloud engineering experience.
• Strong experience designing enterprise Azure solutions.
• Proven experience leading Azure cloud migration projects.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong understanding of Azure networking and security.
• Experience implementing Azure governance and landing zones.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
