Location- Chicago, IL  (Onsite only 5 days in office)

Pay Rate to candidate - $63-$65/hr C2C

Lead Azure Engineer with PM skills

Hands on experience on Azure PaaS Components which include Azure Web App, Azure Function Apps, Azure SQL Database, Azure Application Gateway, azure function apps, azure logic apps, azure front door, azure dns, azure application insights, log analytics, azure automation accounts, event grid.

Setup backup for azure virtual machines using azure recovery vault.

Setup alerts using azure monitor and automate the response in case an alert is triggered.

Worked on deployment of products using azure devops. This included various stages of deployment and included the deployment of core resources using arm templates (incremental deployment using nested templates)

Automated processes like new site deployment, scale management of azure web apps. Monitoring of web apps referring to the metrics

Engage the stakeholders apprising them of the day-to-day activities

Handle HIGH Priority escalations and bring them to resolution.

Engage various teams to troubleshoot P1 issues.

Assist in drafting the root cause response for the stakeholders.

Monitoring the environment & ensuring that the services are available 24x7.

Resolving Infrastructure related issues which includes over 300 Windows Machines (Physical & Virtual) hosted in on premise and Azure platforms.

Deploying patches to cloud applications and environments; assisting the clients with application management and deployment

Evaluating, recommending and deploying the tools to implement best industry standards and processes.

Broad understanding in planning, design, deployment and management of enterprise IT; proficient in running successful process-oriented operations, entailing implementation of cost cutting strategies as well as initiatives for business excellence.
