Wachusett Brew Yard is looking for a passionate and experienced hospitality pro to serve as our Lead Ambassador-a frontline leadership role that ensures smooth service and exceptional guest experiences without formal supervisory duties. If you love craft beer, have solid restaurant chops, and enjoy energizing a team while delivering high standards, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do:
- Serve guests with top-tier customer service and genuine hospitality
- Support and guide front-of-house staff to keep service flowing smoothly
- Pour beers, fill growlers, and talk guests through our offerings with confidence and enthusiasm
- Foster a positive, pride-filled team environment through your presence and example
- Maintain a clean, organized space that reflects our standards and values
- Ensure safety and compliance, including age verification for all alcohol service
- Operate POS system, handle cash drawer with accuracy, and follow opening/closing procedures
What You Bring:
- Previous experience in a high-volume hospitality or bar setting
- Knowledge of craft beer and a curiosity to learn more
- Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
- A calm, confident presence and a team-first mindset
- Dependability, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes loud or hot/cold environment
- TIPS certification (required)
