We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Lead Afternoon/Part Time Behavior Technician to join our team! As a vital member of our care team, you will work directly with clients to implement individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a BCBA.Job Summary:Spend your day working with children at our state-of the art center.Carry out the treatment plan that has been carefully outlined by a supervising Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).Provide ABA therapy to manage and improve behaviors that interfere with daily life.Job Highlights: Flexible scheduling. Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent (Required)RBT certification (or willing to obtain certification)Proven experience working with children (preferred)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsReliable transportation and willingness to commute to the centerAbility to work from 4-7 PM, Monday-Friday (able to close the center)Ability to work flexible hoursBT Responsibilities:Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBAProvide 1:1 therapy to children with autism using evidence-based ABA techniquesCollect and record accurate data on client progress during each sessionCommunicate client progress and concerns with the supervising BCBAAssist with skill development in areas such as communication, social interaction, and daily livingSupport behavior reduction programs by implementing strategies to address challenging behaviorsParticipate in initial and ongoing training programs, including team meetings and supervision sessionsFollow Flywheel's clinical policies, procedures, and documentation requirementsMaintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactionsLEAD Responsibilities:Support onboarding of other BTs within the center and provide ongoing support as needed.Provide coverage for therapist cancellations by filling in for missed sessions when assigned, ensuring continuity of care for clientsAssist with admin tasks in the center including organizing materials, center set up and clean up, and creating seasonal decorations and preparation of activities etc.Lead daily afternoon group activities from the provided curriculum, including preparing materials, facilitating activities, and supervising participants to ensure a safe and engaging environment.Who is a good fit?
