Position: Lead Brake Press Operator
Pay: $25.00/hour
Shift: 1st shift
Location: Byron Center, MI
Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Lead Brake Press Operator to start IMMEDIATELY at $25.00/hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team to achieve daily production goals safely and efficiently
- Assign tasks based on team members’ strengths and capabilities
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth workflow
- Promote safety protocols and a clean work environment
- Provide training and mentorship to team members
- Oversee the flow of materials and finished goods
- Address issues proactively and demonstrate strong work ethic
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Leadership and management experience, especially in manufacturing environments
- Deep understanding of department processes including technical aspects
- Familiarity with brake press operation and sheet metal work
- Ability to read/write/speak English
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift 50 lbs occasionally
- Hi-lo certification and valid driver’s license may be required
Skills:
- Brake press operation and sheet metal knowledge
- Management and supervision skills
- Forklift operation experience
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
