Pay: $20.00

State Retirement Benefits

5 days of Vacation (First Year), 11 days PTO and 10 paid holidays (based off of year-round employment...260 days)

Qualifications:

  1. Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent

  2. Must have knowledge of basic custodial equipment and supplies

  3. Must possess a valid driver's license

  4. Experience in custodial work is desirable

  5. Must possess, or obtain during probation, Cleaning Management Custodial Technician I rating and any other qualifications the Board, District Administrator, or Building Administrator may deem necessary or advisable

  6. Basic Computer Skills

  7. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Regularly and 80 lbs. occasionally

Job Duties:

Maintain awareness of day-to-day activities and special events to ensure adequate

building cleanliness for the school

Maintain and complete necessary building routes for the custodial staff.

Complete cleaning and custodial activities as scheduled.

Complete maintenance and repair activities on a scheduled and as-needed basis, such as

repairing small equipment, changing air filters, etc.

Maintain knowledge of cleaning supply safe practices and manuals

Serve as a positive adult role model during interactions with students and staff

Maintain a positive attitude to meet the custodial needs and expectations of building staff

Maintain a safe and appealing environment by assisting with snow and ice removal and

lawn care

Complete district vehicle maintenance as assigned

Assist at other buildings to complete work during special projects or personnel absences

as needed.

Additional duties as deemed appropriate at the sole discretion of district leadership

Weekend Building checks

Maintain record keeping on Facility Manager Pro.

The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or illegal substance in the workplace in

compliance with Policy 3122.01 throughout their employment in the District.
