Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and functional requirements.
Translate business needs into epics, features, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with application developers, architects, Product Owners, UX/UI, and QA teams.
Analyze application workflows, system interactions, interfaces, APIs, and integration requirements.
Facilitate requirements workshops and technical/business discussions.
Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, UAT, and other Agile activities.
Identify and manage requirements gaps, dependencies, assumptions, risks, and constraints.
Coordinate requirements across internal teams, suppliers, and technology partners.
Maintain requirements traceability through design, development, testing, and release.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
5+ years of Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar experience.
Experience supporting software/application development projects.
Strong experience developing functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with application workflows, APIs, system integrations, and data flows.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar tools.
Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Dallas Fort Worth based or able to work regularly from the DFW area.
Preferred Qualifications
Automotive or commercial vehicle industry experience strongly preferred.
Experience with in vehicle, infotainment, Head Unit, or connected vehicle applications.
Experience with Android, Android Automotive, mobile, or embedded application development.
Connected vehicle, telematics, or vehicle to cloud experience.
Experience working with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or automotive technology organizations.
Ideal Candidate
A technically capable Business Analyst who can effectively bridge business/product stakeholders and software engineering teams. Candidates combining strong BA fundamentals with automotive and application development experience are preferred
