We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst II to act as a subject matter expert within Accessibility Analysis.
You will work at various long-term unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.
Responsibilities
Lead requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation and testing
Actively participate in pre-sales activities
Propose solutions to achieve business objectives
Analyze and document functional and technical requirements and create specifications
Conduct a comparative analysis of proposals
Utilize different software development methodologies, processes, techniques and quality planning methods in all phases of work
Perform and assess application and user acceptance testing
Assist staff and clients with application problems, issues and defects regarding software capabilities and performance
Facilitate effective communication between customers and technical team by translating operational language into technical terminology
Mentor junior-level analysts
Communicate and justify estimates for the client
Create high-quality analysis and requirement documentation
Requirements
Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Management Information Systems, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, Business Management, or closely related discipline; plus 2 years of employment experience in the job offered (Lead Business Analyst), Business Consultant, Business Analyst, Managing Consultant, Business Analysis, Systems Analyst, IT Analyst, Product Owner, Process Analyst, Functional Analyst, Software Maintenance Engineer, Project Manager, Product Manager, Software Testing Engineer, QA Engineer, QA Analyst, or closely related occupation
Requirement management, including eliciting, analyzing, validating, formalization, and regulation of requirements in written format
Creating and maintaining specification documentation
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
At least one of the following software development methodologies: RUP, Waterfall, Scrum, or Kanban
At least one of following BA techniques/tools: SWOT analysis, requirement analysis, use case modeling, BPM, or mind mapping
Modeling and analyzing business processes using at least one of the following modeling languages: UML or BPMN
