Lead Caregiver / Intake Coordinator 

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, flexible, and motivated Lead Caregiver / Intake Coordinator to support both client care and agency growth. This hybrid role combines hands-on caregiving leadership with client intake, relationship building, and community outreach.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, proactive, and comfortable working in the field—meeting with potential clients in their homes, educating them on services, and guiding them through the onboarding process. This position plays a key role in both care delivery and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

 Caregiving & Team Support

  • Provide compassionate, high-quality care to clients
  • Train and mentor new caregivers
  • Fill in for call-offs and open shifts as needed
  • Help start care for new clients and ensure smooth transitions
  • Conduct occasional home visits to support clients and caregivers

 Intake Coordination & Field Work

  • Meet with prospective clients and families in their homes
  • Conduct in-home assessments and intakes
  • Educate clients on available services and care options
  • Build trust and establish strong client relationships
  • Guide clients through the onboarding process and complete required paperwork
  • Develop initial care plans in collaboration with the care team

Requirements

  • HCA certificate through the state of CA
  • TB Test
  • Prior caregiving experience required
  • Leadership, training, or mentorship experience preferred
  • Experience in sales, customer service, intake, or marketing strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to build rapport with clients, families, and referral partners
  • Highly flexible, dependable, and solution-oriented
  • Comfortable working in both home care environments and field settings
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Strong problem-solving skills and team-oriented mindset
