Lead Carpenter

About the Role:
Additions ADUs and Buildings LLC is looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Carpenter to join our growing team in Deerfield, NH. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take ownership of carpentry projects from start to finish, working alongside a dedicated crew to deliver exceptional craftsmanship. Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee carpentry work on residential additions, ADUs, and new building construction projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to guide daily work
• Perform rough and finish carpentry including framing, trim, doors, windows, and cabinetry
• Supervise and mentor junior carpenters and crew members on job sites
• Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure timelines and quality standards are met
• Ensure job site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with building codes and regulations
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment efficiently to minimize waste and delays

Requirements:

• 5+ years of carpentry experience, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role
• Proficiency in framing, rough carpentry, and finish carpentry techniques
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety standards
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites in the Deerfield, NH area
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to perform demanding carpentry tasks in varying weather conditions
