Lead Carpenter - Woodstock, CT

Responsibilities:
Reading blueprints, plans, specs and instructions
Using hand and power tools
Rough framing of walls, ceilings, flooring and roofs
Finish carpentry including hanging crown moldings, installing window/door casings and
baseboards, installing fixtures and hardware, cabinet installation
Shoring erection, repair/replacement of patios, decks, doors, cabinets, appliances and necessary demolition
May also include drywall, patching, and painting
Checking the accuracy of completed work in accordance with the plans
Other qualifications and responsibilities might arise as deemed necessary by circumstances
Supervising crews and subs on site
Qualifications:
Must have 5+ years carpentry experience and knowledge of remodeling Proficiency in all trades, Including; frame to finish
Must have a strong work ethic and take pride in all work
The ability to work efficiently without wasting materials and possessing reliable transportation and tools
Strong communication skills
Must possess ability to read building codes, blueprints, and drawings
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and tools of the trade required
Must be willing to pass a criminal background check in compliance with regulations
Salary and Benefits:
$65,000 - $75,000 per year.- Negotiable, commensurate with experience.
