    Job Description

Integrated Restoration is looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter who can produce high-quality work, lead a small crew, and keep reconstruction projects moving.

This is a hands-on leadership position. You will work alongside a crew of two to three people, not supervise from the sidelines. We need someone who can review the scope, plan the work, identify problems early, and deliver a finished product that meets our standards.

Restoration work is different from new construction. Every property, customer, and project presents different challenges. You must be able to think on your feet, communicate with project managers, and take ownership from the start of the assignment through final quality control.

    What You Will Do

    • Lead and work alongside a two- to three-person reconstruction crew
    • Review scopes, plans, job notes, and material requirements before beginning work
    • Confirm the job is ready and immediately communicate missing materials, unclear scope, or site conditions
    • Plan daily production and assign work based on crew experience
    • Perform framing, structural repairs, drywall, trim, cabinetry, painting, and finish carpentry
    • Repair or replace damaged walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and other building components
    • Complete exterior repairs involving siding, soffit, fascia, flashing, housewrap, and related carpentry
    • Match new materials and finishes to the existing property whenever possible
    • Coordinate with project managers regarding progress, schedule, materials, and changes in scope
    • Document completed work, labor, photos, material needs, and unexpected conditions
    • Inspect your crew’s work and correct quality concerns before the job is considered complete
    • Train and guide less-experienced carpenters
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
    • Participate in the rotating emergency board-up and on-call schedule

When siding or exterior work is unavailable, assignments may include interior reconstruction, punch-list work, warranty corrections, board-ups, demolition and rebuild support, or other production needs.

    What Success Looks Like

    • Your crew knows the plan and stays productive
    • Project managers receive clear and timely updates
    • Problems are identified before they become delays or change-order disputes
    • Work is completed within the approved scope, schedule, and budget
    • Finished work is clean, precise, and consistent with the existing property
    • Jobs are properly documented and ready for final inspection
    • Customers and team members trust you to do what you say

    What We Are Looking For

    • At least three years of hands-on carpentry, remodeling, or restoration experience
    • Demonstrated ability to lead a small crew or take ownership of jobsite production
    • Strong skills in framing, drywall, trim, finish carpentry, painting, and general remodeling
    • Ability to read and execute written scopes, plans, measurements, and job instructions
    • Ability to troubleshoot jobsite problems and make sound decisions without constant supervision
    • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
    • Comfort working from ladders, scaffolding, or access equipment while following fall-protection requirements
    • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
    • Reliable attendance and the ability to work occasional early mornings, late days, overtime, or weekends when required by weather, emergencies, or customer needs
    • Basic personal hand tools appropriate for the trade

Experience with siding installation, aluminum bending, soffit, fascia, flashing, pump jacks, or restoration work is strongly preferred.

    What We Provide

    • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
    • 401(k) with company match
    • Paid time off
    • Profit sharing
    • Company vehicle and fuel for assigned work
    • Specialized tools, access equipment, uniforms, and personal protective equipment
    • Paid safety, equipment, manufacturer, and restoration training
    • Advancement opportunities into Project Management, Estimating, or Construction Operations leadership
