Overview
Junge Construction is hiring a Lead Carpenter / Working Superintendent to lead job site operations while performing hands-on carpentry work. This role is responsible for managing daily construction activities and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day construction site operations
- Supervise field crews and coordinate subcontractors
- Review and execute work based on blueprints and plans
- Maintain project schedules and coordinate materials delivery
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Track progress and maintain project documentation
- Communicate with clients and project stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of carpentry experience
- Experience leading crews or managing job sites
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and codes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 40+ hours per week depending on project needs
