    Who We Are

    Voda Cleaning and Restoration of Ann Arbor helps homes and businesses stay clean, healthy, and protected. We provide carpet, floor, tile and grout, upholstery, odor, and air duct cleaning, along with water, mold, fire, and smoke restoration services.

    The Role

    As a Lead Carpet Cleaning Technician, you will manage carpet cleaning and floor care jobs from start to finish. You will deliver high-quality work, communicate professionally with customers, and help create repeat business and referrals.

    When carpet cleaning work is not scheduled, you will cross-train and assist our restoration team. This provides hands-on experience with water-damage restoration, structural drying, mold remediation, fire and smoke cleanup, and related services.

    This is an active, hands-on role with opportunities to earn incentives, gain certifications, and run jobs independently once fully trained.

    What You Will Do

    • Lead carpet cleaning and floor care jobs using approved methods.
    • Inspect job sites, identify concerns, set expectations, and recommend appropriate services.
    • Deliver excellent results and complete final customer walkthroughs.
    • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
    • Complete work orders, photographs, logs, and other documentation.
    • Maintain equipment, tools, supplies, and company vehicles.
    • Perform basic equipment maintenance and vehicle checks.
    • Cross-train with and assist the restoration team when needed.
    • Help with water extraction, equipment setup, structural drying, demolition, cleaning, and other restoration duties as trained.
    • Follow company procedures and safety requirements.
    • Provide excellent service that encourages referrals, tips, and repeat business.
    What We Are Looking For

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
    • Carpet cleaning or floor care experience preferred
    • Restoration experience helpful but not required
    • Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for job documentation
    • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
    • Positive attitude and excellent customer-service skills
    • Willingness to learn, cross-train, and earn certifications
    • Ability to lift equipment and perform physically active work
    Preferred Certifications

    IICRC certifications are highly valued. Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) certification is preferred but not required.

    Compensation

    Compensation is based on experience and can increase as you gain skills, responsibilities, and certifications. The position also offers opportunities for commissions, performance incentives, and customer tips.

    Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
