Join us. **Job Description** **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) Case Manager to oversee case management operations for federally funded disaster recovery and housing assistance programs. The Lead CDBG Case Manager will provide guidance and support to case managers, ensure compliance with program policies and federal regulations, monitor caseload progress, and assist with training and quality control efforts. **Responsibilities** + Monitor case files to ensure compliance with federal, state, and program requirements. + Review applicant files for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility determination. + Provide guidance on program policies, procedures, and documentation requirements to case managers. + Conduct quality assurance reviews and assist with corrective actions when needed. + Track productivity metrics and ensure program timelines are met. + Assist with training new staff and ongoing staff development. + Serve as a liaison between management, case managers, and program stakeholders. + Assist applicants with escalated concerns or complex cases. + Maintain accurate notes and documentation within program databases and tracking systems. + Participate in outreach events, team meetings, and program improvement initiatives. + May be required to travel over 100 miles regionally and statewide + Ensure adherence to confidentiality and data security requirements. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. + Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites. **Preferred Qualifications** + Previous leadership or supervisory experience + Strong knowledge of HUD/CDBG regulations and compliance requirements. + Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency in Microsoft and case management/database systems. + Ability to review and interpret program policies and applicant documentation + Experience with CDBG disaster recovery programs + Prior leadership or supervisory experience + Strong attention to detail and file auditing experience. + Ability to coach and mentor staff effectively. **Additional Information** + Relocation is not available for this role. + Sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the future.
