Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking a Lead Endoscopy Technician who will provide direct patient care and observation in an ambulatory setting while acting as a preceptor for all other Endoscopy Technicians. You will be assisting with the care of patients undergoing Endoscopy procedures. What you will do in this role: Assist with Endoscopy Scheduling You will demonstrate knowledge related to the maintenance, cleanliness, and sterilization of instruments and equipment You will maintain a sanitary environment for the provision of patient care You will prepare the endoscopy unit adequately and ensure the availability of necessary GI equipment and supplies Assist the physician with interventions as indicated Clean GI treatment rooms between procedures and prepare rooms for the next case You will demonstrate appropriate aseptic techniques Qualifications you will need: Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred 2 years' experience in an acute setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center Please be sure to list current license information on your application Endoscopy Reprocessing Certification Valid BCLS Certification upon employment, online certification not acceptableBenefits Mountain West Endoscopy Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
