Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a full-time Lead Clinical Dietitian to join the clinical nutrition team at Holy Cross Hospital, a community-focused facility on the south side of Chicago, IL, and part of the respected Sinai Chicago health system. In this key role, you will deliver high-quality nutrition care while taking on leadership responsibilities that support an exceptional patient experience and strong clinical outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian who thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking to grow both clinically and professionally.

 

We welcome both experienced dietitians and new graduates with a strong clinical internship and demonstrated leadership potential to be well-positioned for success in this role.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver patient‑centered nutrition care, including comprehensive assessments, medical nutrition therapy, and management of enteral/parenteral nutrition
  • Provide evidence‑based nutrition education and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on implementing and monitoring nutrition interventions
  • Support departmental quality improvement and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee tray accuracy checks, routine safety training, and resolution of patient service concerns
  • Assist with patient meal service needs—including phone coverage and meal preparation—as well as additional tasks supporting food service leadership

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
