We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Supervisor (CLS) to oversee daily laboratory operations, supervise laboratory personnel, and ensure the accuracy, quality, and compliance of laboratory testing services. The Clinical Laboratory Supervisor will maintain quality control programs, ensure regulatory compliance, support staff development, and serve as a technical resource while promoting safe and efficient laboratory operations.
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Allied Health Technologies, or equivalent
Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license in the state of practice
Minimum two years of Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) experience
ASCP or equivalent professional certification preferred
Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, FDA, OSHA, Joint Commission, and other applicable laboratory regulations
Supervise daily laboratory operations and laboratory personnel
Oversee laboratory testing, quality assurance, and quality control programs
Review and verify the accuracy and validity of laboratory test results
Perform Clinical Laboratory Scientist duties as needed
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards
Coordinate equipment maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
Develop, implement, and maintain laboratory policies, procedures, and quality standards
Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory staff while identifying competency and educational needs
Monitor staffing levels and assist with scheduling and personnel recommendations
Evaluate new laboratory technologies, instrumentation, and testing procedures
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams regarding laboratory services and test interpretation
Maintain laboratory documentation, quality records, and regulatory reports
