MAU is hiring a Lead CMM Programmer for our client in Greenville, SC. As a CMM Programmer, you will generate, maintain, and support CMM programs while providing technical support training and process improvements related to CMM operations. This is a contract, long-term assignment of 18 months with potential for direct hire.

Required Education and Experience --------------------------------
Bachelors Degree, Associates Degree, or Machinist Apprentice graduate with 3 years of experience in dimensional inspection, or High School Degree with 6 years of experience in dimensional inspection.
Preferred Experience -------------------
• Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting drawing requirements with strong GD&T knowledge. ASME Y14.5M - 2009 • Demonstrated proficiency in programming and running Coordinate Measuring Machines • Demonstrated ability to work with solid models preferably NX 1965 • 20206 Bachelors degree in Engineering Mathematics or Computer Science • Structure Light Scanning experience - prefer GOM ATOS Professional Software • VBA Python or similar programming experience

• Strong problem-solving and organization skills with above-average shop math skills in geometry and trigonometry • Ability to multitask and productively manage multiple projects concurrently • Experience with HDGT or Aerospace components
Essential Functions -------------------
Generate, maintain, and verify CMM programs utilizing PC-DMIS or other software. Manipulate models using NX 1965 as needed to support CMM programming needs. Provide CMM-related support to M.E. Manufacturing Engineer and provide operator training for new processes or process improvements. Provide daily operator support in the form of CMM programming and troubleshooting support to the shop floor. Generate and support workstation instructions methods for CMM-related issues. Initiate and lead process improvement projects to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost related to CMM processes. Provide effective communication to appropriate team members when needed. Work effectively as an individual and in a team-based environment in a matrixed organization. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while embracing and driving positive change inside and outside the organization when appropriate.
