Do you enjoy turning complex prints into reliable, efficient CNC processes?

Imagine running a compact manufacturing cell—up to three machines—where you set the strategy, write the programs, mentor one operator, and deliver precision parts on time. That’s this role.

Your mission

  • Translate customer drawings/specs into robust programs for CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam or Hypermill.
  • Create or refine 2D drawings and 3D models from customer inputs to support manufacturability.
  • Author clear setup sheets; select tooling and holders; define offsets—aiming for optimal yield and cost.
  • Lead and instruct machine setups; run prove‑outs; troubleshoot programming and machining issues.
  • Submit purchasing requisitions for tooling and BOM items; collaborate across departments to resolve issues and drive QMS‑aligned continuous improvement.
  • Manage the day‑to‑day of a dedicated operator while maintaining safety and quality objectives and meeting delivery commitments.

Are you a fit? Check the boxes

  • High School diploma or GED; bonus points for an Associate’s in Engineering Technology, technical certification, or apprenticeship.
  • 1+ year of CNC programming experience.
  • 4+ years in machining (or manager‑approved equivalent experience).
  • Mastercam or Hypermill expert; comfortable with general computer use.
  • Confident blueprint reader; GD&T capable (advanced preferred).
  • Hands‑on with calipers, micrometers, and common gages.
  • Proactive problem‑solver with solid work ethic, great attendance, and adaptability; leadership ability preferred.
  • Material versatility across steel, aluminum, stainless, plastics, titanium, copper, ceramic, etc.
  • Required: 3‑axis milling setup/operation. Preferred: 4‑ and 5‑axis milling; prior CNC machining & setup experience.
  • Physically able to lift 50–75 lbs; comfortable sitting or standing for long periods; available for overtime with a flexible schedule.

Quality & standards you’ll work within

  • GD&T
  • AS9100

The tech you’ll run

  • CNC Mill (3‑4 axis VMC) (Haas)
  • CNC Lathe (2‑4 axis) (Haas)
  • CAM Software (Mastercam)
  • CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC)
  • CNC Lathe (5+ axis) (Mazak)

If you’re ready to own outcomes—quality, cost, and delivery—while mentoring an operator and improving processes every day, we’re excited to meet you. Apply now.
