Job Summary:Lead is responsible for ensuring that the building meets its production objectives and is operating in a safe and efficient manner.Essential Duties:• Track hourly production and ensure that hourly targets are met by both operators and line.• Collect and track production and damage rate numbers.• Track employee attendance.• Train new operators on the PECO quality spec and how to sort and repair pallets if trainer is unavailable.• Ensure that all operators have proper tools and equipment to complete their job.• Ensure that all operators are working in a safe and efficient manner.• Clean or report any contamination or potential food safety issues for customers.• Ensure all employees are using proper PPE.• Complete all daily paperwork (OIS, RFU/WIP audits, Audit the Auditor, dumpster dives, etc.)• Communicate any issues on floor to supervisor/manager.• Communicate with employees to resolve any issues or discrepancies.• Other duties as assigned.Education, Skills and Experience:• Graduation from an accredited high school or General Education Development (GED).• Good attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary.• Ability to drive production with employees.
